// 1. Provider & scope

Provider: Michael Ochsner (see imprint). These terms apply to the AlpenRiderChain app and alpenriderchain.ch.

// 2. ARC token & FINMA sandbox

• ARC is a Stellar mainnet asset in evaluation phase.
• ARC currently has no exchange-listed value and is not a regulated financial service.
• Premium features with ARC are in-app functions with no claim to fiat refund.
• RC (RideCoins) are app-internal points only, not a cryptocurrency.

// 3. Sovereign identity

You manage your Stellar and Nostr keys yourself. If you lose your seed phrase we cannot help — you lose your ARC, SBTs and Nostr identity.

// 4. Safety while riding

• Road traffic rules ALWAYS take precedence over app rewards.
• Speed limits are binding. SpeedShield Pro hides speed values but is not a speed-limit override.
• Tracking should not be manipulated while moving.
• Phantom-lock defense discards pass detections when GPS is stationary (e.g. parking garage). Anti-cheat, not a bug.

// 5. Prohibitions

• GPS spoofing, mock locations and multi-accounting to maximise rewards are prohibited — account will be banned.
• Reverse engineering of pass validation or Soroban contracts is not permitted.

// 6. Liability

Use is at your own risk. We are not liable for damages caused by riding errors, GPS inaccuracies, server outages or on-chain transactions. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to intent and gross negligence.

// 7. Changes

We may adjust these terms at any time. Changes will be published on the website and in the app.

// 8. Applicable law

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is the provider domicile, to the extent permitted by law.
